My second look at the Apple TV.
Just as my expect. IPTV market should be back. Apple TV is one of the trial.
As the following URL, Apple TV finally comes with a web browser and wireless keyboard.

if ePC (or UMPC) and a HD Internet TV are at the sample price.
What do you choice?
UMPC or MID (Mobile Internet Device) supports from 5 to 8 inch LCD.
But HDTV is about 35 to 47 inch TFT for the same functions (read email, surf webs, and skype (or chat) with your friends. If you stay at home, why you choice UMPC or low cost PC?
Microsoft knows the final run should be on TV. We should make some comparison between Apple TV and Microsoft TV.
What we can make a Open TV standard to compete with these 2 Giants.
Linux kernel 2.6
Google Android API + Opera browser 9.5 (with an Adobe flash 10 player)
IPTV middleware with DRM/CA
could be the one.

First time I think about Andriod
It is not just a OS for mobile, it also suits for being the OS for a Set-top box.
Google will be in TV advertising market for sure. IPTV is the way.
I don't think IPTV only for the TV contents, that is not what we want for living in 2010 (or after).
video calls with broadband mobile phones, online finance management, or simply email reading are eventually go through the TV, not a PC.
Looking for people to kick off a Open platform set-top box community, let's connect the world with Google Android STB edition. I will join them.
